Supply Chain Due Diligence Policy
In accordance with international and domestic laws and regulations, Dongwu Gold Group Co., Ltd. (“the Company”) conducts due diligence in good faith by reasonable measures, so as to identify and prevent any risk of negative impact related to the relationship with suppliers. To this end, we make the following commitments:
According to our position in the supply chain, we undertake to cooperate with suppliers, central or local government agencies, international organizations, civil society organizations and affected third parties as appropriate, and improve or track the performance, with a view to taking significant measures within a reasonable period to prevent or reduce the risk of negative impact. If risk mitigation measures fail and it is reasonably believed that any of the following circumstances has happened to a supplier, we will immediately suspend or interrupt the cooperation with that supplier:
1. High-risk incidents and sanctions policy released by the United Nations and recognized by the Chinese government;
2. High-risk incidents and sanctions policy released by any other international organization or any other country (region) and recognized by the Chinese government;
3. High-risk incidents and sanctions policy released by LBMA and recognized by the Chinese government;
4. High-risk incidents and sanctions policy released by the Chinese government;
5. Directly or indirectly purchasing materials from or building business relationship with an individual or entity that seriously violates human rights;
6. Directly or indirectly purchasing materials from or building business relationship with an individual or entity that supports any illegal armed group or any public/private security force;
7. Directly or indirectly purchasing materials from or building business relationship with an individual or entity that offers a bribe or fraudulently misrepresents the true source of gold;
8. Directly or indirectly purchasing materials from or building business relationship with an individual or entity engaged in money laundering, terrorist financing or contribution to conflicts;
9. Directly or indirectly purchasing materials from or building business relationship with an individual or entity that fails to meet the environmental protection and sustainable development requirements or mines gold in any world heritage site or natural ecological reserve;
10. Directly or indirectly purchasing materials from or building business relationship with an individual or entity that breaches the government regulations on taxes and fees or has a low social credit.
11.Breaches of environmental, health, safety, Labour and community-related local legislation trigger ESG risks that are likely to lead to adverse effects or to be indirectly associated with that party.
The Company will not offer, promise to offer, or request any bribe, engage in money laundering, participate in any activity that supports conflicts, make a false declaration on taxes and fees payable to the government, or offer a bribe for special permissions.
The Company is willing to accept the supervision of customers and relevant organizations so as to ensure our respect for human rights, make contribution to sustainable, fair and effective development, and create good conditions for constructive cooperation with related parties.
